Hi
We have an Autocruise Starfire motor home and we are very pleased with it. A very honest vehicle, that easily fits on our driveway. A very generous 2 berths, built-in shower, electronic loo, central heating, hot/cold water and a bed you could get lost in that takes 10 secs to get ready.
Check out Brownhills web site as this is where we got ours from
Regards
Richard

Now thats more like it,
Would you call that a large "Camper Van"
How many does it sleep?
Are there any down sides to a self build? What about insurance cover!
Whats the engine and how many MPG
This looks someting like the size of the Merc I considered may be ok.So may be interested. What do the other campervaner's think is it a good buy?

Hi Omega,
Insurance cover not really a problem at all the Iveco is Insured through Shield direct who have a lot of experience with selfbuilt vans.
Engine 2.5 Turbo diesel
MPG takes 50 to fill and always does 310 Miles per tank, virtually regardless of motorway Journies or local pootling, I recently went to Belgium in it towing a 12ft caravan on that journy it did 298 per tank, around 22-23 MPG constant average
We sleep 2 adults in double, one adult space across from kitchen one sleeps in the overcab shelf ! one across front seats.
Kids are growing upo fast thats why I am building a bus conversion. the Iveco as all the right gear, shower, oven hob grill, small occasional table full dining table, TV, Fridge freezer 3way, carver fanmaster Heater (gas/240v heatsources), 2 way hot water heater Gas/240v and plenty of storage space. The write off caravanb used was actually a 2001 caravan.
We have slept more using a inner awning tent.
George
