The short answer is yes, I have been a member for 20 years and have used them 3 times, I chose the RECLAIM well that was the only option when i joined and i must say that they send the cheque back by return of post so on all occasions i have had the money back in my account before the credit card has been debited, hope that makes sense.
There is a limit on the size of vehicle they will recover this is an extract direct from their web site

Motor caravans and motor homes will only be covered if they are under 3000cc and do not exceed 7 metres (23 feet) in length (including any extra fitments). HGV's, LCV's, minibuses and American left-hand drive vehicles are not acceptable.
However I am seriously looking at changing to ADAC later this year, if you travel in Europe they appear to offer a very very good deal,
