Hi all,

I am looking for four (possibly six) hinges that will go on the back door of a 94 VW Valentine Holdsworth. I have looked high and low and can’t find any anywhere. Unfortunately, Holdsworth went out of business sometime ago and it’s difficult to now find replacements. If you know where I may find some or fabricated ones, I would be ever so grateful if you would drop me an email – mgwalker74 at hotmail.com. Furthermore, alternative suggestions are welcomed.

I have been restoring the van as a summer project and this is the last item I need before I take it away

I do have photos of the current hinge, if any of you need a closer look.

your local blacksmith will be able to fabricate them, that is if you can remove 1 for him to copy, best way to find a blacksmith? ask anyone who's riding a horse

I had a Valentine, and the doors lifted straight off, so the hinges should be easy to get at.

Did you ever have yours replaced? I am finding it really hard to find new ones or replacements. I have been searching for quite some time now to no avail. I haven't even been able to find somone to fabricate them - oh well.

go and find a company who make iron gates/railings they can fabricate anything.
