The freezer flap on my Electrolux RM4401LM fridge has gone floppy, from what I have found the hinge would seem to have a spring built into them, but I am unable to locate any new ones, any ideas.

Hi andyvines
We had the same thing happen to our fridge flap, i kept
putting the spring back in but after a couple of days it
would pop back out again, so in the end i split a wooden cloths peg and we wedge it down the side of the flap and
this works fine for us.

Thats worth a try, I was thinking along the lines of some sort of catch to hold it up as we only need to go in the freezer compartment once a day max when we are actually using it.
