NO NO NO, this a baseball bat matter, no police civil sh..t, get in there and break a few headlamps on what ever he has on the forecourt and calmly walk away, i did it once and yes the cops did come knocking on my door, after i explained what happened, they turned round and said the guy might (might) take me to court for damages caused, i agreed i would attend court if thats what he wanted, but he soon changed his mind when i paid him a visit with my three sons, enough said.
...if we ever meet I'd I like to buy you a beer(..just DON'T let me try and sell you anything tho'..just in case! ).
Buster'..although as already mentioned earlier, if it's playing on your mind and making you ill,it probably isn't really worth dwelling on to much...lifes to short...
Yes thanks for that pepe, we have had enough, we have bought a replacement radio and a friend fitted it for us. We discovered that the dash board had been damaged, the arieal lead cut as well as all the others. Nevertheless it has been done now.
Thank you everyone for your concern, we did'nt feel so "on our own" thank you again
Not sure what programme for England, but in Wales there's a tv programme called the Ferret - consumer affairs type of thing.
I wrote to them for help after my dog was savaged - vets bills amounted to £12000, and the other owners insurers refused liability even though police involved. Anyway to cut a long story short - contacted the Ferret, and two weeks later (after the threat of them going on air with the story) the insurers coughed up most of the cash.
May be worth a letter or e-mail to a comsumer rights programme??
Sorry to hear about this issue, but you say the new vehicle broke down, why did you not get it fixed by these lovely people in Nottingham as it would be under warranty, you would then still have the new vehicle.
Or am I missing the larger picture. Still the reaction yo got from them is totaly undeserved, wineciccio had the right idea
