I have been looking at the oil filled rads that Argos do.
Can anyone advise me of a suitable wattage for Electric Hookup, I dont want to blow anyone up !
Also if you have any suggestion on other methods of suitable heating, anything that can run all night?
Not keen on the idea of a gas heater.

We are off for a 2 week trip round Cornwall next week so wanna make sure we are snug at night :)

Thanks all for your advice

Sorry I am a novice as you may have guessed !

I carry a convector heater in the winter when on hook up. Variable heat settings up to 2 kw (a 10 amp EHU will handle that providing you don't put the kettle on at the same time) Cuts out if its knocked over. Runs silently. Thermostatically controlled so you can set it so it roasts you or just keeps the chill off, whatever you like. Lighter than an oil filled rad although a bit larger.

In the warmer weather I save space by carrying a little fan heater, 1 or 2 kw settings, for a quick warm up if needed. Not much use for all night tho' as its noisy & it can get too warm if its left on.

When we are not on EHU we have a built in gas heater.

I bought one of these heaters the other day.  Apparently it is around 4 amp so, as Caz says, will be OK on EHUs.  We haven't used it yet but plan to leave it on very low all night in the cold weather because of the dog (before anyone has a go about us pampering the dog, she's getting on a bit and not well).
