HI can  anyone give me any advice on towing a smart car and trailer behind a motorhome, we will be going to france again next year but have never towed before.

 Does our motorhome go from a class 2 to a class 3 on peage ?? 

I doubt if the toll person will even notice it's there until it's too late.

We don't tow but many people do but the only thing I do know is that the ferry will be more expensive, your fuel costs will be higher and many site pitches will not be large enough to take a motorhome, car and a trailer.

I have considered it when going to Spain in winter for 2 months or so but have hired one instead.

Hi we have a Bessacarr e765 (27Ft) plus 12Ft trailer. 

We have towed the trailer with Deawoo Matiz to the med for the last 3 years, no problems on the roads. we keep of the toll road as much as we can, some sites will charge for the extra car. This year we went to the bay of roses in spain and have already booked to do the same next year.

This year for the first year used eurotunnel, never us the ferry again.
