Hi all.
I see the thread you are refering to and I completly understand your concern, I admit I have no knowledge of gas fittings or electrical fittings so this build will be checked before I venture out. although I have no knowledge I do have a complete understanding of the dangers involved and would not put my children or myself at risk, I want to enjoy the van not have sleepless nights wondering If we will blow up. I do genuinly appreciate your concern but please be assured I'm an adult and would not do anything stupid. safety is always forefront on my mind.
The fire you refer to in my other thread has been left out of the build for the time being as its unfit for use due to the pipes being coroded, but the gas hob/oven and fridge are, and were already complete, and in my home being tested, I just disconected the fire for the time being until I have it repaired or a newer one.
I have had the double burners, the grill and the fridge all up and running fine, this thread is simply about the operation of the oven itself.
thank you naebother, I expect that this is the case myself, just seems that no matter how long I hold this button in for, as soon as I let it go it shuts off the gas, It lights up fine and stays lit, but only as long as I keep that red button pushed in.
on one occassion the flame remained on when I let go of the button but then as soon as I opened the oven door it went out again. tempremental button I think.
