Hi All, wondering if anyone had come accross an alarm system that would be suitable for my motorhome. I live outside the UK and fy in every 2 to 3 weeks. I store my motorhome near Stansted airport. I am looking for an alarm that if activated will contact the police. I know this can be done for offices and shops, so has anyone come accross one for motorhomes.

They don,t actually ring the police, its done via a monitoring station, for which costs are involved.

The cost implication to get this done would be tremendous there are systems that can be adapted but as i say they cost major money , not only that you would have to have a list of keyholders available to attend the motorhome in the vent of a theft etc then fees to the monitoring centre plus the instalation. It would be better for you to have a vehicle tracker fitted to the vehicle along with a top quality alarm system.

Why not put in an alarm that will send you a message on your mobile if it is triggered?

A lot cheaper!

why not put a tracker on it. the company will ring you if its moved.
