Thanks Ratty, I have had a look, most seem to be Caravan orientated. I was hoping if there was somewhere close by, I could leave the van and collect later.
most garages would be able to perform the engine service and also MOT, check with them first with regards to lenght, weight and height as these are the main factors for not getting the vehicle on the ramp. If the vehicle is out of its standard warranty no point in waisting money getting habitation service, just get yourself a damp meter and check it yourself. Also one main point to look at is the date on the gas pipe from the bottle to the regulator, they are usually only a few your before they need changing, very easy to do.
Thanks for the advice Andy.It is out of its warranty. I have managed to get it serviced and MOT at a local garage, saw other Motorhomes being serviced.I thought their customer service and efficiency was very good, saved me going to a Motorhome dealership, wasting time and money which the local garage saved.I did check most garages in area but like you pointed out it was size of Motorhome which was the problem. Also good tip re the habitation. Thanks to you all for your help and advice, I'm still a bit of a novice in the Motorhome world but its getting there.
