enjoy your self, there are many other good sites out there apart from the caravan club, I find them rather to regulated, (and before anyone goes of on a tangent about the CC I am a member and do use the sites)
Do not be afraid to pick up and go, take a well stocked tool kit, (as mentioned above you will find things need to settle in), but do not let that stop you going afar. When we bought our first MH back in 2003, picked it up new from the dealers on the Monday, had remote central locking and alarm fitted on the Wednesday and on Thursday night we where on Portsmouth docks waitng for the ferry to Spain.
Ensure you have a good bottle opener - one of the most important utensils
