Those are some lovely photos of Cheddar!
We went down there for the first time last October(stayed on CC site)and we loved the place...some lovely little shops and some proper pubs! (..mind you, being October,it was very quiet).
Off down there again in a couple of weeks(due to van being booked in at Highbridge),only we couldn't get in at the CC site,so booked in at site over the road(Cheddar Bridge Touring park?)..
With the Sun blazing as it is, I'm iching to get away again..but we've got "stuff to do" this weekend..

Ooooh you say all the right things Delboy! LOL
I did think of you when taking the shot of the toilets - thought you may fancy a change - a new angle???!!!
Hope you both enjoy Ireland later in the year.
In my next life I'm gonna be a proper photographer!
Take Care,
Sharon x

Hiya pepe63
Cheddar is a fab place in or out of season - very friendly!
My Uncle was (and still is in fact) staying at Cheddar Bridge while we were there. That's a lovely site too and the bonus is no kids!
I know that feeling well! Just been sat in the garden with Paddy during my lunchbreak and it's WARM. Last working day of the week for us today so 3 days off and the sun had better be sticking around. Not going away but have new bikes (and a doggie trailer for Paddy!) to test out. Wish us luck. Oh, and have a filthy camper to clean from a wet'ish Easter!!!!

Funny that you should mention about a filthy van to clean..we went away to Rocks East Woodland for the weekend(..about 40 of us camping, for a "pre-festival season" get together) and in my wisdom I'd thought it best to not take the MH and to just use our 3man pop up tent!..
The OH wasn't happy with the idea at all but after seeing how muddy everything got she came around to my way of thinking...
...it was a lot easier just washing down a small tent than it would've been cleaning out the van(..which would have become a dry, warm "den" for as many muddy folk who could've squeezed into it!)
It was qite nice using the tent for a couple of nights..Although due to a few beers,I'd forgot all about the need for the 3am dash across the campsite to the loos.(..I can't say that I miss that!)

Oooooh you proper camper you Pepe66!!!
Labrador + rain & hail + mud = stinky camper! I'm ashamed to say it really is horrible inside. I emptied out the necessary items and stripped the bedding/sofa fleeces, etc and locked up.
