Hi,

I'm looking to buy a reversing camera for my new motorhome and would welcome some advice.

Does anyone recommend any particular system (not wireless), i'm looking for something adequate but sensibly priced.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have one fitted but dont rely it when im getting close to where i want to be. You can see whats behind you - but because of the wide-angle view, its hard to judge just how close things are. Its ok for making sure theres no kids or dogs round the back when youre reversing, but thats about it.

as proffesional lorry driver i would say dont spend your money .waste of time .a little wet spray or dirt and they are useless .get out and look its the best way .get someone to help if neccasry.

I have found the wired type brilliant especially when it is raining and it never gets dirty as is fitted high up on the van saves any nasty bumps when walls or posts are around and keeps a eye for kiddies & pedestrians who always seem to walk behind your van ,also ideal if you are parked you can keep a eye on your valuable bike or scooter so a good safety and security item.

They are very cheap on fleabay from china provided you keep the price under the VAT threshold for imports.

I second what john say,s got mine on flea-bay for under 70pound fitted it up high on back of m-home works great--------------- great piece of kit.
