My reverse light on my Fiat is staying on causing the camera to also stay on...... have had to remove the reversing light bulb and disconnect the camera.   

I believe its a loose connection because in a build up to this, the reverse light and camera were intermittent and would eventually right themselves, some days it wouldnt come on at all...... but now on my last trip out it came on and stayed on... :( so :-

Does anyone know where the Camera connects in the wiring ? just to see if its a loose connection somewhere.

Sound like the reversing switch on the gearbox is sticking.

That could depend on engine type and year.

Crawl under the van and look for a wire that connects to a spade connection on your gearbox.

Remove the wire and clean the connection then replace the wire and try again. If this fails to correct the problem then you will need to buy a new unit.

The unit simply unscrews from the gearbox.
