If, by very used you mean an older van, then perhaps you should be looking towards the Classic Camper Club where you should be able to buy a well loved old van in good nick for a fair price.
My last van, a Bedford Pioneer 6 berth that I bought through the club was an absolute corker with no damp and everything working perfectly. It did not cost a lot and 3 years later when I sold it, I got that same amount as I had originally paid for it.
I don't know if they still have atricles in it but they used to write a few pages in the MMM magazine each month.
I got a bargain off ebay in Jan, been offered more for than I payed for it 5 years ago
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.
We bought ours in Feb. this year, after the worst winter for donkeys years. It'd had plagues of frogs thrown at it weather-wise for many a week before we bought it, including a foot of ice and snow for three weeks solid. I reasoned that if it was water-tight after that lot, it should be a good 'un. It is.
Well they seem to hold their prices when you're a buyer but not so much when you're a seller... :)
Just looking to change my 98 Duetto for a small coachbuilt perhaps 5/6 years old and the trade in on the Duetto means it will have cost me £9k depreciation to own over the last six years :(
