Our motorhome is insured by http://www.frankpickles.co.uk/products-motorhome.asp We paid £230 for the year and have our breakdown cover with the C Club, both seem excellent value and good policies to me.

We haave Caravan Guard anad they always seem to be competative.  Fortuneately never had to use them so can't comment on the service.

Very good for breakdown- wished I had got my insurance through them too. This si for a 1989 VW but they do cover for everything.

Hi we also use frank pickles have done for 3 years cost £220 this year and added alps breakdown at £65 had to use breakdown in france 2 years ago for little thing and they where great so no complaints

If you are a member of the AA or the RAC don't imagine for one moment that you are covered for Motorhome breakdowns.

I found out that I had to be a member of the C&CC to enable the breakdown thing with RAC. I believe that a similar situation prevails with the AA and the CC

For breakdown cover try ADAC Phone them up and when they answer, ask for an English speaking operator. Most of my pals have now gone over to them - especially the ones who travel in Euroland a lot

Thanks Sandram for the suggestion of Frank Pickles - we have just bought a new MH, new to us anyway!!, and was quoted £382 from the CC, and Frank Pickles have quoted £245, so will give them a call in the morning.
