Hi, I have a burstner T625 2002 model which I bought in August last year for £23000 from one of the major motorhome retailers. It is very similar in layout, had done about 17k miles and in excellent condition. These are not very plentiful and there are not many Burstner dealers of motorhomes around the UK so you may need to look far and wide to locate one. Quality and build is top class.
We have had many admirers whilst on sites around the country, and the layout has been the main thing they comment on. Many of the 2010 model motorhomes I have seen this year are displaying that layout but it will take a few years for them to fall to the sort of price you are looking for.
Only niggles I have had has been with obtaining a ladder hinge, (which I broke). The German factory likes to shut down for about a month in the summer period for hols. That said the dealer acquired it for me after a month.
I found that the fuel tank was leaking when I bought it, It is on a Fiat base the dealer had no problem in replacing that under the Fiat europe wide warranty, once they managed to get one. Not the usual sort of thing to go wrong though is it?
The Motor has been fine, has a 2.5 diesel engine which cruises along without problem when fully laden at our legal limits, MOT has just been due and it sailed through. It is now 8 years old and I expect to be using it regularly for years to come.
I would recommend Burstner so good luck.
regards
Harding
