Have to agree with Bigtoe, we had a T25 and always had lights flash or VW wave from VW owners. Now we have a T4 & it still continues. Very occasionally from other makes?types of campers/motorhomes. Think its more of a VW thing?

well Im sorry if I ignored a few people when I bought my moterhome about a month ago and took it on our first trip down to Dorset cause we are new to to this and did not know the wave thing but now we enjoy waving to every one. Its nice to know there are a lot of happy people around when driving,funny though they dont look so happy when im driving my white trasit works van.

hmmm ive not had quite the same reaction from bays or T4s but perhaps ive not seen enough yet to tar them all with the same brush!!.

I do the waving and husband does the driving. Trouble is I still wave when I am in the car and then realise why nobody is waving back (must be my age!!)

This made me chuckle! We are the same, I absolutely love it when people wave. When we had our Nancy, an old Transit it was clear to see we were a MH. But now we have a huge converted library people aren't too sure wether to wave or not! So I have decided to be proactive with my waving and will also be jumping up and down madly with a huge grin hoping for a response. If you don't wave then you are no fun and you need to lighten up!
