Hi

I've just recently found this "gold mine" of a site and going full time interests me (I didn't even know such a thing existed). However it seems there are many obstacle in the way. For instance insurance for a motor home. I have contacted Comfort Insurance and it seems they are happy with a "contact address". As I do not have any reliable "contact addreses" what do people think about using a Solicitor or any other method(?). OK it's going to cost but it should be reliable for passing on important documents etc. For instance speeding tickets, if unlucky, given out by speed cameras. You might not aware that you have even been caught! This is just the first of many obstacle I can see.

regards

Hi

I've been thinking that an accommodation adress would do much the same, anyone use one?

Hi Carter, I was going to suggest you had a look on Motorhome Facts as they have quite a lot of people who do full time but I see you have already posted on there

Hi

Thanx for the replies, but really I need a "contact address" that I can totally rely on. As I am divorced, no children and have some relatively old relatives, I would prefer so set up some sort of  "official" contact address. It would seem to be a niche in the market for such a service. What does anybody think?

regards

There are services that act as a post box.  They'll forward your mail, take phone calls etc. for a fee.

Gday

You can use the local post office as an address for your mail and it doesn't cost anything

Hi

And thanx for the replies. Using the Post Office does not seem to be an answer. if I read their web site right it's actually (illegal(?)) not possible to redirect mail if there is no offical residence. An accommodation address has possibilties, but can be expensive. This full timing is more complcated than first seemed. I've come to suspect that either people are taking big risks (with insurance etc) or are using the term when in fact they are Part Timing!

regards
