We have an AutoCruise which is based on the Peugot Boxer chassis, with the handbrake on the rh side of drivers seat and gear lever in dash so seats swivel easy. Go for diesel every time!! Petrol can be very expensive to run especially if you plan to travel distances. Diesel engines will do 250,000 if looked after and they are cheaper to run without a doubt (No offence to you petrol guys out there)
The only down side to a motorhome is a lot of car parks have height restricting barriers over the entrance, thus stopping the motorhomer from parking, which I think is totally unfair as these things are called Leisure vehicles!
I guess it is done to stop travellers, but then why should we pay for their efforts in getting a free place to stay?
Good hunting! You have some good advice in these posts.
Regards Richard
