Will it stand the weight of the bike + carrier? Will it get in the way of doors/windows?

I reckon your other half is crackers go on the dave cooper site to see scooter carriers . I have carrieda 125 formula race bike on the back of mine for thousands of miles never a problem, go for it .
Hope this helps in your decision .
Please let us all know which way you decide.

I have one for my Autoquest 120 (had to have the chassis strengthened) but my wife doesn't want to use a scooter - feels safer on a bike. So, I have a very cheap scooter rack going if you are interested! And a Piaggio Zip!
With the scooter on the rack, the vehicle feels OK so it should be OK on yours.

I usually strap the wife to the back if she gives me a load of yakkyedeyak, joking i always carry my little honda sky everywhere we go, this sept. it will be her third trip to Pompei, Italy, very useful for nipping around. Do it.
