I was never happy with the Zig units and I re-built mine.
You can either connect a leisure battery using blocking diodes or a double relay powered from the 'ignition' light.
One relay connects the leisure battery in parallel with the main battery and disconnects it from the Zig. The other relay connects the vehicle battery to the fridge, so that it only works on 12V. when the engine is running, and disconnects it from the 'Zig'.
The Zig selects either the Leisure or the Vehicle battery.
------------- Two drifters off to see the world.
I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.
