Help
Anyone got a clue, or had the same problem......is/was it the cold?
went recently a short distance for a week at Devizes. On commencing journey, after about 2 miles, ABS, ASR, EDC lights came on. Pulled in, thought maybe it was the cold, though everything seemed to 'feel' OK. Had a little read of Handbook, could not turn round on narrow road, so decided to drive on, carefully, calling in at local garage in about 3 miles. On a roundabout, 'battery' light indicator and 'exclamation mark above' flashed on and off....on..off...on..off. then stopped off. Pulled in to Garage, they thought safe to carry on, as only going 20 miles, then possibly need to go to Rygor, Merc. agents for diagnostis.
Anyway, within a mile of leaving garage, all lights went off, and stayed off....so breathed sigh of relief, guessed was cold or condensation, and 'enjoyed' one of the coldest weeks we have ever had, with no pump working, no water, no on board heating working. Fan heater was pretty much fine...............Ah!
Leaving site a week later, again after 1/2 mile this time, ABS,ASR,EDC lights came on.....not fooled this time, went on for about 8 miles, pulled in to layby, turned off engine, turned on again, and lights stayed off......so carried on home.
Dont want to have to travel 35miles to Rygor, if lights have gone out, and they can#t diagnose a fault, but want to charge me for the little chat between my van and their computer.
