Last May Day we went away to Devon and froze all week as we have no heating.
I'd really like to know whether this is suitable for use in a small vehicle - am I likely to fry even at minimum setting, and also am I likely to overload any campsite fuses?
What about in Europe - we go away most years and northern places such as Germany and Denmark can be chilly at times. I just don't know how to find out what the typical current supply is. I presently only use a small fridge on mains hook up and that draws only about 75 watts.
At 900 watts it should be plenty warm enough for a campervan and only draws app 4 amps,at 1800 watts app 8 amps, most U.K. sites supply 10 to 16 amps so no problems ,a lot of French sites supply 6amps so on the low setting no problem provided you don't try to use anything other than your fridge at the same time,if you do just switch it off while you are using it.

Why not look at the oil filled ones, no noise and safe if you drop some clothes on it, You can pick one up for less then £20 pounds and being only 500/750 or sometime 850 watts, its not going to trip any electric pillars here and abroad, i been using one in my talisman for 3 years now(winter only obviously) and on max has kept us just right.
You can purchase the Tubular heaters for a lot less than the one for sale on ebay from Toolstore, and you should be aware that the 3rd item is designed to be wall mounted.

Just another option. We have a cheap fan heater which we find good as it heats up our motorhome very quickly even on the 1kw setting and the heat is very easily controlled.

The work will wait while you show the child the rainbow, but the rainbow won't wait while you finish the work.
