You dont need a specific type of garage. Just one big enough to take your van. Depending on its size, many regular places that do light commercials will suffice.
Things found to be wrong that were not when I took my motor home in for service, not able to do the repairs that I requested and damage to my motor home that I did not notice for sometime afterwards other things I cant mention.
I personally never use the same place for service and MOT.
If you keep the two separate, and use an MOT centre that does ~no~ servicing work at all, then you remove the temptation to "create" work for themselves by failing things that should have passed (possibly as advisories).
Hi, did you know that most councils have a mot station and will do an mot for £55 they will not carry out repairs but will tell you what is needed with out bias, They can also accomodate all sizes of motorhome.
------------- We are a little mad, just some more than others
Anyone living in essex for a cheap m home oil change national tyres on the london road hadleigh quoted me £60.0 for my 3 litre motor a good deal I think.
I've heard tales (possibly apocryphal, I don't know) of tyre chain oil changes where they suck to old oil out through the dipstick tube, and that to me is not a proper job, as it leaves too much old oil and sludge in the sump.
I would be suspect at the quality of oil used and did it include the filter?
no point in changing the oil if you dont change the filter I think.
£60 seems far too cheap- you get mostly what you pay for. Just look on Europarts to get rough prices of parts, an oil filter is about £16, oil is about £30-45 per 5 litres = approx £55 so where are the labour charges?

The cost of the oil is peanuts, when bought in 2000 litre deliveries - most around here use Shell Helix 10W/40, which is a decent oil. Trade prices for filters are also way below what we have to pay.
