west wales is stunning and we get there every moment that we can,Tenby is fab little town with 2 stunning beaches,nice shops,lovely harbour,best site i can recomend is windmills its only a 10/15 minute stroll into tenby,within 10 miles you have Oakwood theme park and Folly Farm,absolute heaven for your boys,Newgale has one of the best surfing in the area and a beautiful beach,car parks big enough to park your van and your right on the beach,campsite right opposite the beach,no electric hookups but nice toilets/showers and cheap.You have to stop in Solva on the way up to St Davids,beautiful harbour,if your going to St Davids Caerfai bay is your site,superb views,lovely and quiet ,10 minute walk into St Davids  and its on the coastal path so you could have a beautiful walk to Solva and catch the bus back,that would keep you busy for a week or 10 days.If you need any more info dont be afraid to ask..Dave

In response to the no sleeping in a motorhome at shell island!! i have booked to go at easter and made it very clear we would be in a camper van and no mention was made of this rule?

Maybe it's changes or does not apply to vans?

Hi just checked FAQ's motorhomes and campers are allowed just no caravans, hope this helps.
