I have always used caravan guard for motorgome insurance and found them very well priced. Getting a new van on friday and they are only charging me an extra £25. Considering the difference in value of the two vans I thought that was good.

I also got a good quote from Crusader leisure vehicle insurance.

Hi Dave
Thanks for that.
Comfort did say no extra to change from the Cheyenne to the Dakota, other than a £15 admin fee, but then came up with the tracker nonsense.
Have since spoken to the Caravan Club who've undercut Comfort by £25. Unfortunately they cannot tell me this far in advance how much extra (if any) it will be for the Dakota in May - no admin fee though!
May just try your options shortly!
Enjoy your new van! What are you getting?
Cheers,
Sharon

Hi Sharon
getting an Elddis autoquest with a fixed bed. No more putting up/taking down the bed at either end of the day! Luxury!!!!
cheers
Dave
Our Cheyenne is a fixed bed Dave and we love it. The Dakota is also fixed bed - wouldn't have anything different anymore. Great to walk back from the pub and just fall into it - not that I do it too often of course!!!!

Good on you sorting that out Sharon dont you just love these great insurance guys.
Cant wait for your new m/h to arrive could do with a tidy read on the blog.
Delboy
They are the pain of my year Del Boy. CC were great though - £195 for insurance + £62 for Green Flag. Not bad I thought.
Off for 2 nights next Friday (roll on) so not long to wait for blog updates!
Take Care,
Sharon
