I've got a water leak from the Cascade GE Rapide water heater that is fitted in my Peugeot Boxer AutoSleeper Symphony. I drained the main tank last Autumn but somehow managed to forgot to drain the heater so I guess something's burst in the big freeze :(

I'm happy to check it over externally to see what's needed but I can't find my way into the box that it's fitted inside.

If anyone can shed any light on the assembly of the bench seat/bed so it can be dismantled for access and inspection I'd be really pleased?

Thanks for this info and the useful links.

I used that drain plug last year but forgot to do this winter and it froze
When I filled it on site after dark last weekend it run out under the floor and out the other side of the van but I didn't realise this until the morning.

I spent all of yesterday afternoon working out how to strip out the sliding section of the bed and various partitions in the bed box so everything under the wooden floor could be dried out.

When I got the water heater out and connected it to the garden hose water poured out of the back end through the electrics box so I'm guessing a fusible plug or something more serious has failed.

Ideally what I need now is an exploded diagram of the heater's construction so that I can ascertain what's wrong.

Any further help would be appreciated.
Thanks

.

I finally got to replace the seals on the water tank and tested it with a garden hose, but since refitting it I now have found another leak which I've had chance to investigate further.
