Many thanks in advance!,

Very good choice, i had one for  a year and half, and if it hadn't been for her indoors i wouldn't have swapped in a million years for what we have  now ( not that i don't like it mind) but i do miss the speed of the 2.5 turbo something pump of the VW engine. The easier parking and having just one vehicle instead of 2 now,i put 27 k miles on it during my ownership, we started going to Lagos (Portugal) one of my sister in law lives there, and then countless trips to Italy & Spain. The only advice i would give is tell him to shut the side door very slowly, banging it shut will cause the concertina blind in the roof vent to blow itself out of the runners due to air pressure, but apart form that GOD I WISH I STILL had it.

Hi David

We have an Trident 2.5 2005.  IT IS THE BEST DECISION WE HAVE EVER MADE!!!

It is also our main vehicle and drives like a car.  We have not been abroad in it yet - still exploring the UK!  We took 3 months off work and toured Scotland and England.  We were worried it would be too cramped for such a long period of time but we really had no problem at all.  We've had no real issues or problems with it.  Everything still working well.  Good layout and really comfortable bed (although I have added a mattress topper in recent year and even more comfortable!).  Layout practical and 'rock & roll' bed the easiest bed EVER to pull out!  Trident gives good storage in the roof so all bedding, etc can be packed away easily and stored out the way.

Our nieces and nephews have enjoyed sleeping in the bed in the roof - although I fear they will soon be too big soon for this!

We knew we needed to get a camper that would fit into our small parking space and looked at many models and designs.  We hired an Autosleeper Trident for a long weekend and new instantly that this was the one for us!

We have not regretted it for one minute.  Truly happy times!

Thanks for the replies. I have just directed my (Female) friend to this thread and feel sure she will be very excited by it. Hope she will get as much fun from it as I get from my Autosleeper Symbol....Am almost full time over the past six months and this trip taken a month to get from Devon to Norfolk. Whats the hurry!

David
