We are planning a 12 month motor home holiday of the UK/Europe arriving in Sept.  Can't believe its only 4 months away now!!!

We are considering buying a motor home over the internet from a company in the UK that offers a buy back scheme.  Its a little daunting - buying something you can't see/touch/test drive.  Has anyone any advice/experience on a Carioca 644. Its done 21,500 miles and is selling for 22,450 pounds.

I would appreciate any advice.

bev and mick

if your spending a greater amount of the time in mainland europe , i personally would buy a left hand drive model , for the ease of driving .

as to which model , i would go for one with a rear kitchen and w/c / shower room , as then the middle space is a large lounge dining area . cooker not too important, as being one of our colonial cousins from the land of the barbie , i would imagine a cooker will be an ornament, as long as there is a hob with a grill , very important if you like your toast in the morning or even suppertime treats after a few tinnies ,,so if it doesn't have a bbq put that high on your wanted list when you arrive , good luck with your planned european adventure , and i'm sure you will have a fantastic time ,,

get someone to check it out. Google caravan/motorhome engineers local to the sellers' base. I am sure one would be happy to view it for not much money in relation to your planned expenditure.

AA & RAC do reports on cars. Don't know if they do motorhomes too. These are Automobile Association & Royal Automobile Club if you are not familiar. Basically commercial enterprises now.

Someone on here might do it if you post details.
