Hi everyone, I am thinking about buying a peugeot boxer van conversion 2 litre hdi and I was wondering if they are agood engine and what sort of mpg would i be able to expect ,any advice would be much appreciated Nomad 49
They are excellent engines, the only drawback is to make sure the injectors are covered, there was loads of hints/talk on this forum in the last 4/3 years or so about people complaining re, them going rusty due to water/rain getting on them ie. not being covered, fiat remedied the problem with a cover, peugeot would not so take a good look at the engine bay, if the injectors look nice/clean and rust free go ahead buy if they are not walk away as they are pigs to remove when rusty.
Well i would disagree with that statement , its like everything else you can get good and bad everyone said the fwd transit was a pile of s--t i had no problem with mine , my relay van no problem with that.
I always say and its only my opinion People will only tell of troubles never of the good points because it gives them less to talk about.
Like i say only my opinion some may agree some may not.
