Warning Warning Warning Just had my converter stolen of my motorhome peugeot boxer and I am so sick because it costs 500 pounds to replace, it took them under 3mins to steal and its going on all over the country, look on bbc site just put CATALYTIC CONVERTERS in and see how many people are having them stolen write to the MP's and tell them how unhappy you are.

But most of all be carefull watch out !

Hope you get sorted soon, is yours a new model Boxer (2007 onwards?)

There have been quite a few mentions of this on Motorhome facts as well. Some people have bought Catclamps to try to secure them a little more.

Some motorhome dealers have been targetted as well and cleaned out a whole forecourt.

If you are handy with a welding set then welding two bits of angle iron either side of the exhaust pipe will foil most attempts. The "cats" are removed with pipe cutters and the theives are looking for a quick escape. The angle iron precludes the use of pipe cutters

I should have said that the two pieces need to be welded opposite each other and have the "open" bit of the angle iron facing onto the pipe
