I spotted a motorhome which was a good price but with no pictures so I googled the make and found 2 others all about the same price. Couldnt find anything much about the vehicle so contacted the sellers by email as the one that I rang had the wrong number on it. I went to check the number on one of the other adverts only to find it was the same area code as the first one Checked the third and that had the same area code a well!

All 3 vehicles are in different locations! All 3 have different numbers but all area codes are Basinstoke!

£7k for a 2009 motorhome sounded too good to be true *sigh*

Anyone got any answers?

Its a scam, any scam such as this involves the victim paying money upfront for a vehicle to be delivered later. Obviously there is no vehicle. I find it hard to believe that people fall for this sort of thing.

Cast as many aspertions as you want, even Nigerian scammers can become ukcs members...

Ratty is not really in a position to do a random person behind a computer screen in a third world country up like a kipper...

Scam vehicle ads are no different from spam, its the numbers game, put out enough & somebody might bite...

I you want want to enter into dialog with a scammer, always use web based email like hotmail etc...create a separate account for 'scamming the scammer' fun, don't use your normal email addy obviously...
