Hi

I am new to this game but have just bought a 1993 Hymer B644.

The problem I have is I want to clean out the clean water tank but cannot find the drian plug.

Also what is the best thing to put in to clean it out.

I have been told to use some Milton thats the stuff they use for babys bottles is this good advice and does anyone have any other suggestions?

Hi Rogera, My M/H is not a Hymer but my Fresh Water tank is situated under the bench seat and there is a large orange access cover on the top which unscrews so that you can reach in to clean it. I always add Milton to the tank every time I fill it. My drain tap is situated in the pipe that comes out from the bottom rear of the tank, you have to stretch down to get at it, the drain pipe then disappears through a hole in the floor. I drain it wipe it out and dry it after every holiday.

We have a Hymer and the tank is situated as described by Phil.

We use Miltons and ensure that the tank is flushed properly thereafter.  As Phil says, it's been to leave it empty after each trip away.
