I am looking for somwhere to go for our first trip we have 3 days from New years day.

Not to worried how far as I like driving possibly somewhere South from Derbyshire

Would like to be in walking distance from  a village / seaside

Maybe a site with an indoor pool and club  any suggestions

How about the Plassey at Wrexham? I've not been there but it seems to have everything and looks quite popular and it's a reasonable distance without being the other end of the country! Plus you've got access to quite a bit of Wales, no beaches but beautiful countryside.

Hi Rogera, you could try Newlands at Charmouth in Dorset. It has an indoor pool, 10 mins from village and beach. and they take camping cheques ( £9.95 each )

Plassey at Wrexham this site is not open so no luck there Nora but thanks anyway.

Newlands has no vacancies Phil.

It looks like it could be Isle Of Avalon Camp Site  I will let you know if we end up going will look out for you Chris.

Hi the Skegness Sands site is right on the Seafront near to Skegness, not sure if the pool is open at this time of Year but you could use the one in Skegness itself, there are a couple of Public Houses within easy walking distance.
