Our Carver Cascade Rapide water heater was presumably fitted into our 1998 Autosleeper at manufacture. We bought the vehicle 2 years ago and the heater has worked well until now. Recently we heard a bump, about the same volume as when a bird flies into a window. Subsequently the gas heater does not work, no heat comes from the flue, despite the green light being on with no other lights indicating flame or battery failure.
Any ideas what might have happened? Is it worth spending money trying to repair or does replacement seem the only option?
