hi,

does anyone know where i can get campingaz cartridges size cv-250.they are only marginaly taller than the cv-270 but have a nozzel.

i have a handy gizmo on my camper that allows for 2 cartridges to be connected and automatically changes over when one is finished.before i change this system thought i would just check if anyone knew of any supplier in the u.k.i have been on everywebsite going,its really bugging me now cos i can get these in japan at £7.00 a go

...jap import van.....been down this road already......couldn't find them in the uk ....dont know how much space you have but I was really stuck for it so ended up cutting the end of the tube and fitting a campingaz regulator so I could use  campingaz 901 bottles ....not as easy to get as their big brothers and far to expensive for the amount of gas in them but with limited space I had no choice...better to carry 2 or 3...

thanks for your help,yes am thinking this is the way to go,i have 2 nice new batteries hooked up for just van interior.i,m thinkingi dont need 2 ,might get rid of one and use extra space for gaz and try for a dumpy small bottle..space is very tight,and mine is a pop top,so tiny amount of cupboard space.

still if i stick to rice and sushi,and only wear a kimono its more than adaquete.i think for the money you get a lot a lot more camper plus a great engine going the import route.....but when things go wrong....japan is a long way

toyata will supply all parts if you give them your chassis no.... some parts are interchangable with the official import hiace compact(not the powervan|) as its the same body with different motor.... like you said ..fantastic van for the money...they have a bit of a drink problem though....
