Trying to locate ( it is impossible when you dont even know a christian name!) and only have dates when this couple were at the same site as us, 2 years running but at different times of the year. They are from WALES , somewhere near Cardiff, and had an ELDDIS MOTORHOME,in Year1... Then Last year 2010.... year 2, they had a swift bolero with a 2 bike carrier and arrived at Tudor Caravan Park (on the Saturday) of the August Bank Holiday. They said see you next year, at that time, for this coming August bank holiday. We would so like to contact them as we are not able to go this year, but would like to make other arrangements...Just a shot in the dark, that someone knows of them and how we could contact them or...that you are indeed them. Any help please thank you.
Not having much luck are we....I know of no other site which might attract a reply to a far fetched query....but Tudor Park was certainly full over the 'Last' August Bank Holiday. Please try harder.....its doing my head in trying to think of a way.
Email the site a "wanted" poster with your photo on, and ask if they would put it up in reception. If your friends check in, they would see it and could ask for your contact details perhaps.
Thank you very much Mr Jumbo jet with snow on top ( snowy747 )Thank you also Minicamper 2001.......Now the reason you are better than us at this type of thing is because we were beating ourselves up about letting someone down. The presure is now gone...simply by asking the question and getting the simplest of replies..
Once again tar very much. We shall do as you suggest and I guess 1or the other should prove fruitfull....many thanks.
Thank you...we have emailed Tudor, and they are happy to display a picture taken last year and hold a letter for them when the come in this August Bank Holiday. We have sent the letter today and have put all of our contact details in that, along with our apology. However I would be very interested to know of which site you refer to in your post? Thanks again for your reply.
I would have posted it on motorhomefun.co.uk which i am a member of but you also have motorhomefacts. I prefer fun as they are more fun lol. Have a look you can read without joining. Between both they have thousands of members.
Not a problem 'mini'...the weekend is almost here, and with the letter to Tudor, and a couple of pictures, we are hoping for a response from them or the couple we seek.. We will post on here if we are sorted . Thanks everyone for your ideas. Its hard to ask someone to help you, when we all know that personal details are private, and should nor be shared in this wonderfull world we live in, where "shredders" work overtime and normal is mostly not possible. I have learned that you can only hide if you are a criminal....for the rest of us just a little detective work with ordinary honest folk and collective thinking...we can all find what we seek. Be it people , as in our case, or the bargain buy! etc. Tar all, tar very much.
I have to agree with the poster re motorhome fun being more fun than motorhome facts though! We once went on a motorhome facts rally and the female marshall was as miserable as sin and when we arrived she didnt make us feel welcome and her main concern seemed to be getting the £1 rally fee from us! As it was our first ever rally with mhf we did not know anyone at all, so we expected some kind of organised get together, perhaps a gazebo in the middle of the rally field where those that fancied bringing their chairs and meeting up with fellow campers could congregate for a chat or maybe a quiz or raffle ...anything that would have created a bit of a social gathering and bring members together but nothing ... absolutely zilch was organised and the whole weekend was a bit of a non event! It put us off attending future rallies and we never renewed our membership once it expired. When we joined motorhome fun we soon discovered that attending their rallies was exactly that and they certainly lived up to the name fun ...we've been on several now and had a brilliant time on every occasion!
So....We have not found them!........and we have been to Tudor this week!., and they did have the picture up.........now I am thinking 'they' may have been from the Swansea area.....oh well we tried, and can do no more than that. Tanx 4 all the help and suggestions everyone...just not lucky this time around....maybe next August bank holiday!
