I've "heared" people speak highly of these on other forums:

We've considered getting a simple "cap",like this:

..but again I've "heard" that these can damage paintwork,if not lashed down thoroughly... 

So,to date,we haven't bothered....

Could you if you bought an old caravan (before any dampness or leaks.) put this product all over it to stop the water getting into it. t works of s.pools, so water resistant. But could it be used to paint a caravan leaving just the usual opening bits free.So if it could, would it save £'s as the roof, and awning rails not be inuse let in water also the seams.
