Just sbout to take Floosie out to get her looked at as she needs some work doing. Its the first time we have given her a run since the drive shaft broke! Lets hope we will make it home under our own steam. Wish us luck!
Hi we have made it home under our own steam. Yes was probably the CV joint, I really have no idea, all I know it made heck of a noise and the day ended with us on the back of a breakdown truck. All is well again, at the moment! Oh and decided internal heating is sort of a priority!!!
Definetely heating if its a bay, try and get your hands on a good second hand propex gas heater, there are a few on ebay for sale, but try one that is complete,ie. controls and down pipe for gas exhaust, they are very easy to fit, or obviously if you use camp sites and pay for power then go for a small oil filled portable radiator, i use one in my hobby and although a lot bigger it does the job quite well at keeping the chill off.
We took an oil-filled 240v rad for EHU use in October but to be honest it was a waste of time, the Propex is much better, next time ill take a fan heater
Oh thats good advice Steve. The propex heater was one of the jobs we have booked in. Hard to know when to stop with jobs though our little Floosie likes money spending on her!
