Hi, can anybody explain what the hell  is  a canbus, i have been told that i can't wire any extras ie, running day lights and a very loud air horn that i removed from my talisman and put them on my hobby based ford, has anyone else overcome this problem and how  do i go about it, cheers.

Hey Wineciccio you have to take it to your local autolec , it is all to do with modern electrics if you attempt anything yourself you will end up blowing ecu,s and all manor of things .

The day running lights should be programmed in as they are law in some countries. Your Ford van dealer should be able to activate them.

If not, buy a full DRL kit that includes one.

Or pay stealer prices for retrofit kit.
