Bought a Lunar Newstar 58 on Fiat 2.8JTD 2003. Went for a 4 berth for the extra storage for bedding in the over cab bed. Not likely to use it as it looks more suitable for children so not bothered if it stays folded up and just holds our bedding and towels.
Not getting it until the end of the month so will have to twiddle our thumbs for the next 3 weeks before we can play in it
Looking forward to our France trip now - we will have a bed that is long enough for us to stretch out in
Its not a U lounge - its 2 benches with drawers and a table between them
We will be off to France in July - going a bit further south to Brittany this time - we have 'done' Normandy now so looking for fresh fields. Not sure if we will be by the sea or inland - now I dont have to research Motorhomes I can concentrate on the holidays
DH is like a dog with 5 tails! He cannot wait to get behind the wheel and hit the road - lots of campsites on the East Coast so we will be having several runs out before the France trip to make sure we can work everything.
One thing I have been looking at is loo kemikuls
I have been reading on other forums that people use biological washing tablets in both tanks. What do you use?
Hi, my wife and I have bought a Swift Royale 590RL on a 'Y' plate and can't wait to get a few miles under our belts. We look forward to swapping tips & stories with fellow campers.
That layout is the exact same as a mates caravan. Just makes the bed a bit shorter. Ours is a year younger, without the centre unit. Its personal preference, but im glad we dont have it, as theres ample storage without for 2, and the bed is HUUUUGE!
Hi Mick, got a problem with the leisure battery not charging, I have changed the fuse. The charging unit is under the floor of the wardrobe and is switched on but there is no idiot light to show there is power there, any ideas would be most helpful.
Hell No !!!!! All my life I have worked hard doing all I could until a good friend of mine pointed out to me that I was LIVING TO WORK instead of WORKING TO LIVE, my wife & I seriously changed that & now enjoy every minute when not in work.
gazmister123 - this isn't our first van - we had a battered old converted ambulamance for 2 years but this is our first Motorhome without having to use a bucket with a lid.
Glad you are enjoying the experience. Maybe we should start a New Owners Club and share our experiences
Well done we only bought our last Sep, had great fun in her up until winter, we still sit in her at least 3 times a week with a glass of wine planning this summers trips, all the very best MJS05
Only 3 days before we collect our new baby *where is the excited smilie when you want one*
Bought several 'bits' to go into her. New kettle (whistling and electric) Got a Halogen oven for when away for longer - already got the crockery and cutlery and Cobb so really looking forward to Sunday and putting all our 'stuff' in the many cupboards that we have never had
