Hi Everyone, got a problem with the leisure battery not charging, I have changed the fuse. The charging unit is under the floor of the wardrobe and is switched on but there is no idiot light to show there is power there, any ideas would be most helpful.

Was the fuse blown, or dont you know? Sometimes theres more than one fuse in the line. Do you know the battery will take/hold a charge? Or are you just assuming its ok? Helps to know, thats all.

Do you mean the leisure battery is not charging while on ehu but it will charge up ok while driving or neither? If the battery will not charge up in either mode suspect the battery itself. You need a volt meter & an understanding of what is involved to check further. You can however charge battery with separate trickle charger, if battery holds its charge for more than a few days then you will know that battery is ok.

try disconnecting the battery, thencharge it with a separate charger, if it holds a charge then you know it is not being charged. I say that because i have had a battery not holding charge, but it was the satellite tuner running it flat.

What is the terminal voltage with the engine running / EHU connected / battery not being charged?
