hi there all hope you are all well and keeping nice and warm ,my motor is a very large 6 ton mercedes 608 diesil van converted into a motor home the people who built it have done a smashing job, they had it factory fitted,it started life doing flower runs between uk,holland uk, its as solid as a rock under, but the upper body needs some work,i am at the moment collecting all the parts i need to bring it up to spec,it does say on the log book motorhome, its private hgv tax tho , i am going to use the commercial breakdown cover for £98 a year that george but me on to, i have rac cover on me transit van,or any vechicle im driving or a passenger in up to 3500 cwt,if i broke down while down the beach etc it would be well worth the £98 to get home,i have no worries round the city as being in the motor trade i have plenty of mates to get me back, but you never know if that ole propshaft, gearbox etc may want to give up the ghost on a trip, i use the co op to insure the camper, which has free breakdown cover but again only up a limited weight,....thanks for all the info, very best wishes billy in brum :-)
