For Mick S.....Beer is in 'fridge, she/me just closes the door......Similarly the wine bottle in clips within cupoards...TableS, in our case, big rectangular , stored in wardrobe, not always used unless more than 2 eating, and smaller oval one that is slotted into floor and remains fixed during travel. We bought our motorhome for the freedom it gives us to wander. We, as you say, wander to our site, work prevents us from staying (more often than not) more than 3 nights on the many sites on which we stay at. Our awning is of the 'drive away' type, in its 5th season, drive away means leave standing on site if further supplies are needed. The bikes are used for cycling around the locallity, and I dont remember any occasion at all of 'upping sticks' before the day of leaving. A statement that indeed would baffle anyone including me, however I never made it.... BBQ, is rather small, it managed to cook for eight, effectivly and well for many a Bank Holiday weekend. Ariel is fixed to roof of 'van' (note fixed) T.V is housed in its own cupboard. Chairs, we carry 2, for just weekends, and I did ommit those from my 'packing list', sorry. Waste can?...is that the kitchen bin? We recycle on site where possible. or do you mean Greywater or toilet cassette.Either way deposited on site in facilities provided for that purpose. Mick, I took the original post by Brion as "tongue in cheek", and I answered in the same way ( He said " I love me motorhome more than the wife, should I get rid of her (The wife)?". Every other post pre mine was answered in a similar manner. Its called fun.Something which we could all do with more of. I have found this motorhome forum to be informative, helpfull, and very friendly. Please dont spoilt it. The original post was timed at 9.38p.m on 26th.2 further posts later that same day. Both tongue in cheek. On 27th at 2 more posts 1 at 1.58pm,and 1 at 2.31p.m..I posted mine on 27th at 4.57 p.m...yours arrived at 7.36pm.................nothing since!
I now feel obliged to apologise to Brion, for seemingly stopping light heated 'banter'. Which I do here and now, for all to see. Sorry, I thought, as it appears, did others, that you were being light hearted, and funny, and answered in the same way as all other responders. My mistake evidently.
