What's peoples thoughts on the difference between a Motorhome and a Campervan? I currently drive a T5 converted by Hillside lesuire, which while very luxiorious I would call a Campervan. Prior to that I ran an old T4 with a self conversion...described better as a 'Tin-Tent' than a campervan!
Personally I would say that a van conversion (with a Pop-up roof) counts as a Campervan and anything larger, ie hightop and large van conversions, coachbuilt vans and A-class would count as a Motorhome. Be intrested in peoples thoughts on this and if anyone knows of an official description of the difference (if one exisits!).
Dinner at lunchtime time = campervan! thats me scuppered then only ever have lunch at lunch time and dinner at dinner time (High tea and supper as well if lucky..but not on the same days lol) ..however still drive a campervan!
Lol, I always thought a 'mobile home' was just a posh name for a static caravan that someone lived in 24/7/365!
To me, size matters lol, if its larger than a transit type van in length, width and height then its a Motorhome, if its smaller or the same as one its a campervan lol!

I would say a camper van is more basic like normal camping and has no shower or wc. I would say a motorhome is more like a home with all mod cons like shower wc cooker tv and stuff just my thoughts but i dont really care what folk call mine lol
Mine says on V5 'Motorhome', but def not coach built as looks like a window van on the outside (well when the roof is down anyway!)
at the end of the day dont really mind what people call it, its all about enjoying the outdoor lifestyle! (well when we dont use the EHU, heater etc etc )
