Shot in the dark, lookign for a motorhome and seen one that looks in our field of price and style but its 3 hours away in Stockport, Manchester. Before we trek over to see it ourselves and find out its a waterlogged nail with dog smelling fag stained interior like some others we have seen would anyone right close fancy doing a preliminary viewing or does any company do such a thing? It a private one off autotrader................ Off to work now but will check in through day.......... How cheeky am i?
Have you the link to it on Autotrader ? or model etc.
My OH is pretty good at looking at photos of vehicles and picking out things ie resprays, panels out of line etc.
We love seeing what vans people are looking at. Another forum I am a member on has a lady asking the opnion of price/condition etc on a vans she is thinking of travelling to see. This could work on here too.
We have a rollerteam and absolutely love it, only one downside if you need spare parts, they are usually only available from france or Italy (Tribute). We waited nearly a year for them to send us a replacement table. Having said that this would not put me off having another Rollerteam it is probably the best motorhome we have had.
Hope everything works out ok and as you say nobody else gets the chance to steal your bargain
It looks ok to me, but one thing I would consider is the 2.0 engine. Please note that I am no expert and I am just "kicking a ball about", but is it powerfull enough?
I have the same size motorhome but with a 2.3 engine which I would describe as adequate. Perhaps someone on here who actally owns a 2.0 can comment?
its no good asking another person if its ok, i've travelled miles before on someones recomendation and while it suited them it was no good for us. would they spot a damp stain that you might see, or smell a whiff of something, if you want it then make the effort to inspect it yourself.
