We have reversing sensors fitted to our Autotrail Cheyenne 696G as part ot the SE pack. To be honest I feel they are a waste of space, they are in perfect working order but as mentioned in a previous post they pick up on all sorts of things. When I reverse onto our drive the sensors pick up the tree which is to the side of the vehicle, no chance of hitting that!!! The other point is that if they fail and you dont know that they have failed, you may continue to reverse and damage your pride and joy. I dont take any notice of the sensors and reverse like I always have done, with caution. I think that the camera system is the best option, but at a cost, Border Caz has the next best option, use a third party, failing these two options, be cautious and say a little prayer.
Happy Camping
