Hi on my elddis autostratus motorhome, my mixer tap which is situated in the worktop area has somehow worked loose below the surface, retaining nut?, unfortunately the dometic 3 way fridge is fitted below the sink surface, is there an easy way to get to thetap to tighten it or has the fridge got ot come out, and if so any help on its removal would come in handy, thanks
Just a thought, but can the sink bowl come out? If it did then the tap could be tightened through there.
Im no expert on caravan taps, but on house taps you need a monoblock tap spanner set ( about a fiver) otherwise you might struggle with a normal spanner.
Is it possible to cut a hole in an adjoining cupboard to get access that way?

On my Ace Firenze, you remove 3 screws holding the sink in and that then lifts out giving access to the retaining nut.
ok thanks been away for weekend in van with wobbly tap but will look into sink undoing and also cupboard access, thanks, anything if it can stop having to remove the fridge!
Hi just to thank all replies and to the man who suggested sink removal, an almighty thanks for the suggestion, on closer inspection there were 4 self tap screws holding the sink to the work surface below (slightly concealed under black rubber grommets) once the grommets were revealed it really was easy to remove the 4 screws, then all that was needed was a really good stanley blade and flat screwdriver to persuade the mastic sealant to release the sink from its housing, after this simply unscrewed the drain plug and off it came to reveal a nice easy case of tightening back up the holding nut for the mixer tap, some nice new sealant and job sorted, thanks again for invaluable help!
