We have a Swift Sundance 590 RS on a 05 plate.  During a Habitation service, damp was found by the water tank under the front dinette seat. The damp has affected the wall and floor, we dont think it has anything to do with the water tank believing it to be water seeping in from outside.  Has anyone else suffered this type of problem and importantly what the likely cost could be to repair it?

Can you see where this "damp" is originating from?..as it's near the water tank,is it perhaps where the filler assembly passes throught the van wall?(..or the drain passes through the floor?)..

Hope it isn't too expensive to sort out....

Replace the "Jubilee" clips and the flexible pipe between the filler and tank. I think this will be the problem. Prior to this, place a piece of paper towel on the floor beneath the pipe and fill the tank from the outside and note if the towel gets damp.

I had damp in an Autotrail and a dealer quoted £1000 plus to fix mine was around the door,

I got rid of it.
